Entrepreneur operating in the oil & gas sector acquitted of tax evasion charges and unfaithful millionaire declarations

At the conclusion of the hearing, the Court of Varese - Criminal Section acquitted a businessman, defended by the lawyer. Fabrizio Busignani, accused of alleged tax evasion for more than 17 million euros, through the use of invoices for non-existent transactions, and of having presented a consequent unfaithful declaration to the tax authorities.
The case concerned the fees paid to foreign companies which, in the interest of the Sices Group, had contributed with their work to obtaining millionaire contracts for one of the Group companies in the field of oil well construction, both in the United Kingdom and in Bulgaria , for a total value of over 350 million euros.
During the trial it emerged that the services provided by the aforementioned foreign companies were true and real and, therefore, that the Italian company had not made use of invoices for alleged non-existent transactions in its tax returns.
The unjustly accused entrepreneur expressed lively and understandable satisfaction with the result achieved.
