Dismissal of the case for domestic abuse against a professional

Marco Manfrinati's position was dismissed by the judge for preliminary investigations of Busto Arsizio. The investigating judge was called to decide on the crime of "mistreatment in the family", after Manfrinati's wife's family reported him in the summer of two years ago, before his wife Lavinia Limido and their little son left the marital home of Busto Arsizio to find shelter in the home of his parents first, and then of a family friend.

The news was commented by Manfrinati's lawyer, Fabrizio Busignani: «The judge of Busto Arsizio has archived the proceedings for alleged mistreatment in the family, highlighting the investigative denials of the false accusations contained in the complaints filed, the numerous and serious contradictions in the statements made by the Limido-Criscuolo family group both in the complaints and in the various summary testimonial information and the serious hatred they have harbored against Marco Manfrinati»

Also according to lawyer Busignani, «greater respect by the media for the presumption of innocence provided for by our Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights would have avoided generating a climate of unjustified hatred towards Marco Manfrinati, which was also purposely fueled by those who had falsely accused my client of untrue facts».
