Alleged scam with fake medical records: doctor’s position dismissed

As part of a complex criminal proceeding relating to the alleged falsification of as many as two thousand records of patients admitted to orthopedics and traumatology at a well-known Clinical Institute, resulting in an alleged fraud against the national health system, the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Milan has ordered the filing of the position of numerous doctors, including a well-known surgeon defended by Avv. Fabrizio Busignani.

The proceeding is therefore concluded in which the Prosecutor had also hypothesized the crime of fraud against two former administrators of the institute and the former medical director, as well as the doctors, with a seizure of 1.8 million euros of alleged unlawful reimbursements, as well as hypotheses of liability pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01.
