Dismissal of the case for three high officiers of a Swiss Bank
24-07-2020
As a result of the investigations carried out, the Public Prosecutor of the Court of Milan made a request for dismissal against three senior officials of a well-known Swiss bank defended by the lawyer. Fabrizio Busignani.
The Lugano bank had ended up in the crosshairs of Italian justice, with 18 people being investigated for money laundering and tax fraud. Searches had been carried out at the Milan office of a subsidiary of the group.
The investigation, conducted by the Tax Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza in collaboration with the Revenue Agency, was born from the analysis of the documentation produced by 198 Italian customers, residing between Milan and the province and mostly entrepreneurs, who joined to the so-called voluntary disclosure (tax self-declaration for the re-emergence of the undeclared capital of Italian citizens).
In fact, the investigations had not made it possible to ascertain any responsibility towards the officials defended by Fabrizio Busignani in relation to the alleged crimes.
