Dismissal of the proceedings against Designer and Construction Manager for alleged environmental crimes

The Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Sondrio ordered the dismissal of the criminal proceedings against a Designer and Works Manager of an important public work built in Chiavenna, defended by Avv. Fabrizio Busignani in relation to multiple hypotheses of environmental crime, as well as in relation to the hypothesis of false ideological crime and aggravated fraud for the achievement of public funds.

In the present case, it has been ascertained that no responsibility exists in the activities of the professional who, on the contrary, had repeatedly requested - and indeed obtained - exact checks on compliance with environmental legislation and even the technical one necessary for the public funding of the work in question.

Conversely, for the remaining suspects, the Public Prosecutor will proceed in relation to the aforementioned offenses.
