Criminal defense: strategy, technique and effectiveness

The course analyzes the defender's activity from the moment of first contact with the client until the pronouncement of the first instance decision, referring to the procedural and substantive law issues that are most commonly encountered in the lawyer's professional life.
The phases of the preliminary investigations, those relating to pre-judicial, pre-trial and trial issues, are examined in detail. In particular, the participant will have the opportunity to know and possess the rudiments of the art of examination and cross-examination of texts, also with reference to the entry of scientific evidence and neuroscience into criminal proceedings.
