WEEE – from waste to resource

The meeting took place on 21 January 2012 in the great hall of the University of Insubria, and saw the alternation of exceptional speakers such as the president of Confapi Varese Franco Colombo, Senator Fabio Rizzi, the general manager of ASL Varese Giovanni Daverio, the lawyers Andrea Mascetti and Fabrizio Busignani, Pierantonio Marchese, head of the prevention and protection service (RSPP) of the San Matteo hospital in Pavia as well as president of AICA (Italian association of environmental consultants), the consultant of Lavoro e Ambiente srl, Manlio Castelli and other qualified speakers.

During the conference, all aspects were examined, from the legal to the more strictly operational ones, linked to the disposal and recovery of electro-medical equipment with particular regard to the responsibilities of the figures involved in the various phases of the process.
