Young man acquitted of stalking charges by the Preliminary Hearing Judge of Varese
23-01-2025
A young man accused of stalking against his ex-girlfriend was acquitted today by the Preliminary Hearing Judge of Varese.
The proceedings had originated from the complaint of the girl who had reported alleged illicit behavior by the young man to whom, in January 2024, the measure of prohibition of approach had been applied, immediately revoked after only three days by the JPI of Varese following the questioning and for the absence of precautionary needs.
Thanks to the defensive investigations carried out and IT consultancy on the seized devices, the facts were found to be far different from those hypothesized in the complaint, so much so that the alleged offended person himself had dropped the complaint.
As a logical consequence, the JPH (Preliminary Hearing Judge) of Varese issued a sentence of acquittal in favor of the young man who expressed great satisfaction for the recognition of the absence of any illicit conduct by the Varese Judge.
